Therapy for a Culture in Denial

With this primary season and the "Sarillary" phenomenon we are not just witnessing history but a people/culture going through tough "talk therapy." For the first time Americans are candidly sharing their expectations and sub-conscious perceptions of women as power agents. There are clashes, reflections, honest retractions and challenges. All of these affect expectations for ourselves, young women and our daughters. Our conversations are forcing us into uncomfortable areas. But that is what good therapy does.
